Small but mighty!
This original acrylic painting by Macclesfield artist Ava Reid captures the irrepressible Pebbles Flintstone in a burst of pink, green and earthy colour.
Her auburn hair topped with that iconic white bone, sits above a freckle-scattered face full of personality, while her bright green spotted dress anchors her against a lush, textured background teeming with Ava’s signature shapes in hot pink, sage and blue.
Pebbles was a natural choice for Ava, identifying with the little girl who brims with spirit and mischief, surrounded by colour and adventure. In this painting, she feels exactly that, joyful, alive, and wonderfully herself.
