Original Paintings by Ava Reid - British Artist with Down's Syndrome and Autism
Ava was commissioned for the 2026 MACCPOW Comic Art Festival in Macclesfield, Cheshire, to create a series of paintings inspired by females in comics.
In her own unique style Ava has painted this collection of acrylic on canvas paintings choosing to represent the women and girls in cartoons whose cheekiness, warmth, strength of character and vividness resonated with her and reflected these elements of her own character!
